Jiaozi, sometimes called pot stickers, are Chinese dumplings. They are made from dough with a filling of meat and vegetables. They are usually steamed, though they may also be boiled or fried. Jiaozi are served with a soy-based sauce.

Although jiaozi are a common food all year, they are a favorite food during the Spring Festival.

A similar dish called gyoza is served in Japan.
