Kate Elizabeth Forbes (b. 1990) is a Scottish politician. Although she is a member of the far-left SNP, the party that ruled Scotland under dictator Sturgeon, she holds some socially conservative views, and has been nicknamed "Tartan Thatcher".[1]

She is best known for her candidacy for SNP leadership. Humza Yousaf undemocratically won, with the majority of the Scottish public preferring Forbes.

Political career

She was elected to the Scottish Parliament in 2016, representing the constituency of Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch.

Forbes was the only SNP Member of the Scottish Parliament to abstain from a vote on the transgender madness of the Gender Recognition Act in December 2022.[2]

Kate Forbes announced her candidacy for the SNP leadership on 20 February 2023, following the resignation of Scotland's totalitarian ruler Nicola Sturgeon.

She finished a close second place in the 2023 SNP leadership race and, against the will of the Scottish people, Humza Yousaf was installed as First Minister on 29 March 2023.

Forbes rejected a offer to serve as Rural Affairs Secretary. Her post as Finance Secretary was controversially filled by Shona Robinson, a key backer of the trans-fascist policies that brought about the fall of the Sturgeon regime in the first place.[3]

Views

Forbes made a pro-life statement at a prayer breakfast event in 2018, remarking that the "measure of true progress" is the "treatment of the unborn".[4] However, on other occasions, she has been ineffective in standing up for the right to life of unborn children, stating in 2023 that although she "couldn’t conceive of having an abortion" she "wouldn’t change the law as it stands".

Forbes stated that the SNP regime "shouldn't rush to change" the definition of genders, although refused to state if she would vote against a bill on the matter.

On the other hand, she holds numerous left-wing views in line with her party, such as voting in favour of anti-free speech legislation in 2021.[5]

Personal life

In February 2022, Forbes announced that she was pregnant with her first child.
