Kate Moss
From Conservapedia
Supermodel Kate Moss became the postergirl for the "heroin chic" look in fashion during the early 90s, which involved a waifish frame and heavy mascara and eyeliner to suggest rings under the eyes from prolonged drug abuse. Public outcry was widespread, and even President Bill Clinton publicly criticized the positive depiction of drug use as dangerous for impressionable young girls.[1] It was later revealed that Moss had a long history abusing cocaine, with photographs documenting her abuse.[2][3] Yet, in true form for fashion industry values, her popularity and assets doubled upon revelation of the drug abuse photos.[4] Also, now that she is older, she has openly accused the fashion industry for pushing her to be too thin.[5]
