Kylian Mbappé (b. Dec. 20, 1998) is a phenomenal soccer player from France who scored 3 goals, plus a penalty kick, in the World Cup finals in 2022. He won the coveted Golden Boot award for the entire tournament, in which he scored 12 goals and became, at the age of only 23, the sixth all-time top goalscorer in World Cup history (tied with Pelé). His father is from Cameroon, and his mother is of Algerian descent.

He was born in Paris and has lived in that area his entire life. He` is a practicing Christian.

His dominating, nearly unstoppable performance in the World Cup finale in 2022 established him as best young player in the world.[1] As of 2022 he is thought to be the highest-paid soccer player in the world, at an age of only 23.
