Lifemark

Lifemark is an upcoming Christian movie, filmed and produced by the Kendrick Brothers (notable Christian filmmakers; their releases have included Facing the Giants) with Kirk Cameron as executive producer and portraying a leading role. It is scheduled for release on September 9, 2022.

It is the first Kendrick Brothers production to be based on an actual event. The story is that of David, born to unwed teenage parents who is placed for adoption and is adopted by a couple who lost their first two sons in infancy. Shortly after his 18th birthday, David's birth mother contacts him and wants to meet him.

The film was given a PG-13 rating for "thematic events" (the birth parents are shown in one scene at an abortion clinic).
