Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet and office document program for the Windows and Macintosh operating systems. It is the most widely used office software in the United States and possibly the world.
History
The spreadsheet was developed with the early computer to improve sales. Spreadsheets where a major marketing point of computers when they first filled the market.
