Mother religious order

The Mother of a religious order is a title given to the head of a community of women in a religious order, Sometimes called Mother Superior if she leads a province or a Mother General is she heads the entire order. She is responsible for the spiritual and organizational leadership roles of the convent, community, province or order, supporting the members in their religious life and service.
