NFL and women

The NFL is constantly attempting to promote its game as being "pro-women", in a variety of politically correct ways that are less significant than they may first seem.

The NFL attempts to maintain support by the liberal media, which is predominantly feminist, and tries to boost its advertising revenue by claiming that there is a big audience of women who watch the televised NFL games.

This strategy by the NFL includes:

• encouraging women broadcasters of NFL games, and even women NFL coaches
• taking very harsh action against NFL players who have domestic violence allegations
• overpublicizing how a few teams have women owners (most of whom actually arrange for men to manage the team)
• downplay the fact that NFL fans are overwhelmingly men, particularly those addicted to the game
