NFL owners
From Conservapedia
NFL owners are mostly self-serving billionaires who bilk taxpayers, exploit addiction, and harm players.
In January 2023, the executive director of the players union, the NFLPA, criticized NFL owners as follows:
“ | The league has probably been the largest group of bullies in the labor market in the history of labor in America. ... We’ve had people declare war on labor forever, but I don’t know of another business in America that has antitrust exemptions, they answer to no one, there’s no 10-Ks, there’s no 10-Qs, there’s no board of directors, there’s no transparency, there’s no oversight. The only people who can ever stand up to the National Football League [are the players].[1] | ” |
Bidding on Washington Commanders
Jeff Bezos of Amazon and private equity managers are the leading bidders to purchase the Washington Commanders team for an inflated price of $6 billion or more in 2023.[2]
As of March 17, 2023, an announcement of a sale of the Washington Commanders to a new owner or owners is reportedly imminent.[3]
