Neal D. Weaver (born August 14, 1940)[1] is the president of Louisiana Baptist University in Shreveport, Louisiana.
He graduated from LBU in 1992 and immediately became the president upon the retirement of Jimmy G. Tharpe, the founder of the institution.
In the 1980s, Weaver was president of Christian Schools of Ohio. He iso a former president of the Gospel Music Network in Dallas, Texas. Prior to coming to Shreveport, he resided in Grapevine, Texas, and Knoxville, Tennessee.[1]
