Nonviolent activism

The nonviolent activist refuses to meet violence with violence but instead seeks to make those who are violent recognize that he and they share the same humanity.[1]

Nonviolence can take the form of non-cooperation: "Non-cooperation with evil is as much a duty as is cooperation with good."[2]
