Operation Home and Garden
Operation Home and Garden was a fast two-day pinpoint anti-terror operation in July 2023 at Jenin,[1][2] with zero civilian fatalities[3] / minimal harm to those not involved.[4]
Background
The IDF routinely operates against murderous terrorists.
Already in 2021, Jenin was "crowned" to become the terror center.[5]
After a series[6] of racist Arab Islamic Palestinian terror attack on Israeli Jewish civilians, the IDF increased its operations.
Then, an escalating incident occurred when the Palestinian Arabs operated advanced devices against IDF vehicles in Jenin, [7][8][9] dubbed the capital terror.[10] It was then talk of a limited operation.[11]
Operation
On July 2, 2023, After a heads up to the US,[12] operation Home & Garden began to diminish terror infrastructure. Bomb factories. Maasses of devices were eliminated and dozens arrested.[6]
Prayer before operation: "Shortly before the start of the military operation in the heart of Jenin, the IDF fighters gathered and recited together a chapter of Psalms for the success of the operation ."[13] one of the IDF officers opened and said, and read the verse: "For it is the Lord your God who marches with you to do battle for you against your enemy, to bring you victory.” (Deuteronomy 20:4).
As is typical, the routine usage of Human shields by terrorists, IDF uncovered hidden weapons, explosive store under mosque,[14] Terror tunnel linked Jenin Terror Mosque to kindergarten [15]
The terrorists, cowards, chose to hide, but big on TikTok and such.[16]
Asides from attacking the IDF in Jenin, a young terrorist targeted Haredi (which all know, most avoid IDF inscription, conscientious objectors) town, stabbing one.[17] Then, Hamas[18] dispatched one of its butchers to "heroically" ramm into civilians and stab several. Seven injured. The terrorist was eliminated by an armed civilian.[19]
[20] At least two women were with crutical injured.[21].
On more of its crimes on their own people, the Arab-Palestinians have been planting charges and explosives on the roads in the camp and in the city in a civilian environment, endangering the unarmed people there too.[22]

Among the worst distorters was BBC.[24] "Riddled wtih lies, mistakes and distortions. " Worse, its anchor Anjana Gadgil recycled an Haaretz blood libel, [25] [while quoting the UN terming the terrorists as "children - ironically, in fact, UNRWA itself shares a lot of guilt in the crimes.[26][27][28][29]]. Anjana Gadgil nuked her Twitter account after that.[30] An "applogy" followed.[31][32] Skewed reporting was noted coming from ABC.[33]
On PBS News Hour Amna Nawaz had on, "correspondent Leila Molana-Allen failed"with obvious mising context,[34] she propagated for fund raising for the UNRWA, she also did not elaborate on the wide involvement with terrorists by those who act as if they are just "civilians". (A boy, in her propaganda clip, said he doesn't want to show his dace fearing IDF might recognize him). She did use a repeated racist-Arab routine of never-with-context posting graphic photos of injuries, to shock.
Husam Zomlot, the self-styled “Palestinian Ambassador” to the United Kingdom, never misses an opportunity to get in front of a television camera.
Any issue related to Israeli-Palestinian affairs will invariably see Zomlot interviewed by every broadcaster armed with softball questions from London to Timbuktu.
So when Israel launched Operation Arrow and Shield, which resulted in the successful elimination of more than a dozen terrorists and the destruction of terrorist infrastructure in Jenin, Zomlot was never far from our screens as he initiated something of a media blitz designed to saturate the airwaves with anti-Israel misinformation.
While Zomlot was given far too much free airtime this month to disseminate all manner of lies, including by mainstream organizations like the BBC and CNN, these were not even close to his worst interviews, which we have narrowed down into a top 5:
Challenged on Sky News – July 2023 Credit to Sky News anchor Kay Burley, who pushed back against most of Zomlot’s more outrageous and incendiary statements made during an interview about the recent surge in violence in the West Bank.
For example, when Zomlot attempted to justify the spate of violent attacks by suggesting younger Palestinians were disillusioned having grown up with stories of the so-called “Nakba,” Burley cut in with the only follow-up question required: “Is that why some of them grow up to be terrorists?”
Perhaps not familiar with such directness from interviewers, Zomlot seemed very much on the back foot, claiming the word “terrorist” should not be used to describe young Palestinians who commit attacks because they are “victims.”
Zomlot’s effort to whitewash terrorism was dealt a further blow when Burley asked him how he would characterize the actions of a group like the Jenin Brigades and when she pointed out that his claim that Palestinians only want “peace” is undermined by the fact they perpetrate terror attacks on Israelis.
Burley also managed to expose Zomlot as the terror apologist he is by simply asking him to condemn attacks on innocent Israelis and condemn violence on both sides — neither of which he was able to do.
Racist Rashida Tlaib was so bad, that even left leaning Jonathan Greenblatt slammed[36] her, as she maliciously lied, spread falsehood.
He launched a scathing attack on Tlaib on July 3, 2023, at the Op., accusing her of promoting baseless accusations and knowingly defaming Israel at a time when anti-Jewish hate crimes are on the rise, in response to a tweet shared by Tlaib, wherein she claimed that Israeli forces were obstructing [Tlaib lied] ambulances from reaching wounded Palestinians. Tlaib went on to call for an end to funding the alleged “violent Israeli ap.. regime.” Greenblatt promptly replied to her tweet, stating, “Even for @RashidaTlaib, the level of dishonesty here is truly staggering.”
"For starters, it’s a complete fiction. But equally important, this was a targeted action against armed terrorists who brutally murdered innocents, recklessly hid weapons under a mosque and intentionally located their ops center next to a school,” Greenblatt wrote.
"But when members of congress knowingly slander the Jewish state in a time of rising anti-Jewish hate, they should be held accountable for fanning the flames and endangering Jewish people everywhere."
Despite operating in a very densely populated area, only 18[32] were killed on the Arab side - wanted and terror related. All of them terrorists. At least two of them were younger than 18; Majdi Arawi and Ali al-Ghoul were both claimed by the Islamic Jihad terrorist group. "The IDF emphasizes that no innocent civilian was killed during the operation and that the IDF acts humanitarianly where possible, including re-paving roads destroyed by explosives."[37] It was a pinpoint operation. Trying very hard to minimize collateral damage. Col. Richard Kemp:[3] "The fact that the IDF killed no civilians in Jenin is a marvel. In most operations in urban areas, even those conducted by Western armies, more civilians than fighters are killed."
5 of the first 9 terrorists killed in Jenin are affiliated with Fatah.[38]
Following operation, Hamas fired rockets onto southern Israel near Sderot - intercepted by the Iron Dome. And the IDF attacked rocket production sites near Beit Lahia.[39]
[40]
One soldier was killed in the operation.

Deputy Speaker of the Knesset MK Nissim Vaturi stopped plenum discussions to ask for moment of silence, read chapter of Psalms, in memory of IDF soldier killed.[42]

After the wave of terrorism that hit Israel: a little less than 24 hours ago, the IDF launched an extensive military operation in the Jenin refugee camp, during which dozens of terrorist targets were attacked, including from the air. Hundreds of fighters, aircraft and engineering tools take part in the operation. On the first day, more than 100 suspects were arrested and terrorist pits were found in a mosque in the city, as well as an improvised rocket, as well as explosives laboratories with hundreds of charges.

When the number of alerts and the number of shooting attacks only continue to rise, both the Shin Bet and the IDF realize that it is necessary to increase the offensive force in the sector.
The security establishment came to an understanding that the offensive activity in northern Samaria is not achieving the desired results. On the one hand, many arrests and raids were carried out, but the number of alerts and attacks continues to increase. In the evening news in Khan 11 it was announced today (Tuesday) that the conclusion agreed upon by both the IDF and the Shin Bet is that Israel needs to step up offensive activity against the terrorist elements in the Jenin and Nablus sectors. According to the Minister of Defense in the summary conversation of Operation Home and Garden, it appears that the goals were fully achieved, but he is afraid of the possibility that the phenomenon of explosives will expand to more places | In his words Galant scoffed at the terrorist commanders in Jenin, "They are strong on TikTok, at the moment of truth they chose to hide"
At the end of Operation Home and Garden, the Minister of Defense held a security briefing for reporters a few minutes ago (Wednesday) and concluded the operation in Jenin.
Gallant began by saying: "We have finished a targeted operation against the terrorist organizations in the Jenin refugee camp, it is about different organizations with a common denominator. In the last 48 hours, we have significantly damaged the terrorist production infrastructure, and we have destroyed the terrorist production plant that was established in Jenin.'
According to Gallant: "We are talking about dozens of sites where there were: workshops for the production of charges, laboratories, storage sites and also security measures that guarded the entrances to the camp, and tried to monitor the routine activities. There were slicks, and a tunnel. We arrested many involved in terrorism and harmed them. In terms of the objectives - the objectives of the operation have been fully achieved, starting this morning the IDF and the Shin Bet have a different freedom of action in Jenin."
Gallant also added: "We actually did a two-division operation, under the command of the division, so that it would allow us the ability to use smaller forces in the future, until a team of fighters could move through the alleys of Jenin and carry out its mission, where it was impossible to do it before with a battalion And with a brigade.'
"The surprise," Gallant claimed, "was achieved thanks to a surprising air attack on the HML, a large concentration of high-quality forces that came from different directions at the same time and air escort of unmanned platforms that allowed for an attack, as well as monitoring what was required. In practice, despite all the talk on TikTok, at the moment of truth the terrorists in Jenin chose to hide or run away.'
"The situation of the last two days", Gallant explained to reporters: "proves .., it is about terrorists who fight for money or to show their friends and the environment that they are heroes. Most of them left their place of residence, and those who remained, hid in places where they are protected by the civilian population, such as hospitals and around children. I think this is something that indicates more than anything the cowardice and lack of courage that they tried to demonstrate on the outside.'
"You should know that the hands are Palestinian hands, mainly of the Islamic Jihad which is the more dominant factor in the Jenin refugee camp, but there are others as well. But the funding is Iranian funding. In general, we recognize a long period of Iranian attempts to promote terrorism from Judea and Samaria through financing, targeting, attempting to transport weapons.'
Gallant also said: "As someone who has known both the Jenin sector and the Gaza sector for years, I can see evidence of counterfeiting of means originating in Gaza, explosive devices, explosive charges, the placement of powerful but primitive mines based on solar boilers or similar things , are things we met 20 years ago in Gaza, only then they buried them in sand and now they had to bury them in asphalt.'
"Any terrorist who returns to the refugee camp in Jenin will not recognize him, for him it is no longer a protected place, the feeling of persecution will accompany them. As far as we are concerned, this is not the end of the verse, where we acted with strength, we will act after that with whatever strength is required in a specific place or on the entire refugee camp.' - ↑ "Israeli wounded in Bnei Brak stabbing attack by Palestinian teen." Last Wednesday, the day after the opening blow of Operation Shield and Arrow, an article by Yossi Klein was published in Haaretz, accusing Israeli ... killing of Palestinian children is what... makes[sic] happy[sic]." Under the title "Killing children is the best, brother"...
It shall be clarified: this is a very dangerous terrorist who was actively involved in directing attacks from Judea and Samaria to Israeli territory, through dozens of terrorist squads, including launching rockets from Jenin to Afula. The decision to thwart him stemmed from the vital need to immediately stop his criminal murderous plans.
More than that: the IDF proved its ambition to avoid killing children by canceling at the last minute dozens of previous attacks by terrorist operatives, due to the presence of too many uninvolved people near it.On July 4, 2023, BBC anchor Anjana Gadgil picks up Haaretz's (Haaretzism) vile lie:

Bennett swiftly countered the despicable comment and pointedly asked Gadgil to explain how she would personally define a young terrorist:
You know it’s quite remarkable that you’d say that. They’re killing us. Now if there’s a 17-year-old Palestinian that’s shooting at your family, Anjana, what are you calling him?”
HonestReporting has since submitted an official complaint to the BBC in which we asked the corporation to investigate and take appropriate action.Former PM responds to BBC interviewer who asserted that the IDF is happy[sic] to kill children: We’re doing the right thing, they’re killing civilians.
Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett on Tuesday gave an interview to the BBC, during which the interviewer stunned him by claiming that “the Israeli forces are happy to kill children”.
“You know, it’s quite remarkable that you’d say that, because they are killing us,” Bennett replied. “Now, if there’s a 17-year-old Palestinian that’s shooting on your family, what is he?”
The interviewer replied, “Under your definition, you are calling them terrorists. The UN calls them…” Bennett then interrupted her and said, “No, no, I’m actually asking you: What would you call a 17-year-old person with a rifle shooting at your family and murdering your own family? How would you define that person?”
“We’re not talking about that,” the interviewer insisted. “The UN has defined them as children, and we know that four people between the age of 16 and 18 have been killed in this targeted attack. Let’s not forget it’s a targeted attack. The Israeli forces are going and looking for these people.”
Bennett then said, “I’m missing something. You know, a 17-year-old terrorist can murder civilians. There’s a fundamental difference between what they’re doing, which is explicitly and deliberately targeting civilians, and what we’re doing, which is targeting terrorists. That’s exactly the opposite. We’re doing the right thing, they’re killing civilians and the fact that you’re creating this as morally equivalent or even worse, I think it’s unacceptable.BBC malice

2023 Operation Home and Garden - an Israeli counter-terror operation in Jenin that lasted from July 3-5, 2023. The operation targeted terror infrastructure in the city, and particularly the Islamic Jihad-affiliated terror group the Jenin Brigade, after 50 terror attacks had originated from the city and 19 terrorists had fled to it since the start of 2023. Israeli soldier David Yehuda Yitzhak, 23, was killed during the operation, while at least 18 Palestinian terrorists were killed and over 300 terror suspects were arrested. Instead, Molana-Allen chose to almost completely ignore the threat of Palestinian terrorism that emanates from Jenin while simultaneously misrepresenting the nature of the Israeli operation.
Missing Context: Terrorism Absent From PBS Report Nowhere in the seven-minute report is it mentioned that Israel’s raid in Jenin was aimed at disrupting the activities of the terror organizations that call Jenin home and thwarting the threat posed by these terrorists to Israeli civilians and security personnel in both the West Bank and pre-1967 Israel.
Instead of providing this necessary context, the pitying report largely portrays the residents of Jenin as hapless and innocent victims of Israeli aggression, claiming that the refugee camp is “packed with up to 20,000 civilians at any one time.”
This simplistic portrayal conveniently leaves out the fact that close to 50% of these 20,000 “civilians” identifies with either Hamas or Islamic Jihad, two internationally recognized Palestinian terror organizations.
Keeping in line with the report’s refusal to allow for any mention of Palestinian terrorism, a speech by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the success of the operation was carefully edited so that his repeated mention of terrorism was omitted.
