Operation Spiderweb
Operation Spiderweb was a large-scale assault on the Russian Federation's Strategic Nuclear Triad by NATO proxy forces. The attack on critical Russian military infrastructure directly related to Russia’s strategic nuclear deterrence by unmanned drones was conducted on June 1, 2025. The Ukrainian SBU, under the personal direction of its chief, Vasyl Malyuk, claimed credit for the attack.
The timing of Operation Spiderweb was clearly designed to sabotage the Istanbul II peace talks, President Trump's peace efforts scheduled to take place the next day in Istanbul. In the days just prior to the provocation, RINO Sen. Lindsey Graham and Democrat "DaNang Dick" Blumenthal made a joint visit to Kyiv to encourage more escalation.
Axios first reported that President Donald Trump was briefed ahead of the provocation, then hastily changed the story to reflect push back from the Trump White House administration saying Trump did not know.[1] Days earlier, Trump did not know about the NATO/Ukraine assassination attempt on Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin with a drone attack on President Putin's helicopter over Kursk.
Russian law enforcement suspected Azerbaijan mafia organizations as complicit in transporting prepositioned drone launchers to attack Russia's strategic nuclear triad.[2]
