Oxfordshire
Oxfordshire is a county in central southern England, named after the famous university city of Oxford. Oxfordshire is bound by the River Thames to the south, across which lies Berkshire, the Chiltern Hills, which form a natural boundary with Buckinghamshire, to the east, the Cotswolds to the west, through which the boundary with Gloucestershire runs, with the Midland counties of Warwickshire and Northamptonshire lying to the north.
Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, and Warwickshire are the location of the region of England known as the Cotswolds, well known for its distinctive pale stone buildings.
Winston Churchill is one of Oxfordshire's most famous sons, and is buried in the churchyard at Bladon, on the edge of the Woodstock estate (owned by the Churchill family) where he was born.
Administration

Essentially all of Oxfordshire is administered by Oxfordshire County Council (with the exception of Stokenchurch).
