People is a liberal-leaning popular magazine with interviews of famous people. It has one of the highest weekly circulations and readership of any publication.

Whereas many decades ago it was viewed as respectable journalism, it has become more focused on popular gossip and celebrities instead of important political figures or other inspiring people. The changes have shifted their tone to be more like a tabloid.
