Power Star

Power Stars are a collectible item in the Mario franchise. They first appear in Super Mario 64, where Mario has to collect all 120 of them to complete the game. Power Stars were replaced with Shine Sprites in Super Mario Sunshine, but became the main collectible item once more in Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2.
