Richard Marles

Richard Marles (b. 1967) is an Australian leftist politician and member of the Labor Party, currently serving as Deputy Prime Minister of Australia.
History
Following the death of Senator Kimberly Kitching in 2022, it was revealed that Marles failed to act on a complaint made by the senator about bullying within the Labor Party. [1]
Personal life
He believes in bizarre tinfoil hat conspiracy theories about aliens. In 2022, the Liberal Party of Australia pointed out that Marles had a plan for finding aliens but not one to fix the economy.[2] His lengthy ramblings on the subject have been dubbed "The Marles Files" in reference to "The X-Files"
