Robin Lamont
Robin Lamont (born June 2, 1950, Boston, MA) is a singer, actress and former prosecuting attorney in New York State and author. She is perhaps best known for her role in the musical Godspell and her hit single from the same, Day By Day.[1][2]
Education
Lamont graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 1973. She graduated from Pace University Law School in 1996.
Career
Lamont starred in Godspell (1973), He Knows You're Alone (1980) and Ryan's Hope (1975).[3]
Lamont worked for a time as a private investigator.[4]
Lamont was a district attorney in Westchester County, New York from 1996 to 2012. Her NYS bar registration number is 2743532.[5][6][7]
In 2012, Lamont wrote a novel based on her career as a prosecutor entitled If Thy Right Hand. In part, it deals with someone murdering sex offenders.[8]

Lamont is married and has two grown children.
