Rodrigo Paz Pereira (born 22 September 1967) is a Bolivian conservative politician who has been the 68th president of Bolivia since November 2025. He is son of former Bolivian president Jaime Paz (President of Bolivia from 1989 to 1993). Along with another conservative candidate Jorge Quiroga won first round in 2025 election and defeated incumbent president Luis Acre, Rodrigo Paz was able to win centrists then win election. His victory comes after protests in 2024 against corrupt socialist regime of Luis Acre and Evo Morales. Rodrigo Paz completed his studies in American University in Washington, D.C., where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in international relations with a major in economics and a master's in political management which lead to move away from his father marxist beliefs.
