Bessent and "family".

Scott Kenneth Homer Bessent (born August 1962) is an investor and hedge fund manager. He is Trump's Secretary of Treasury, as confirmed to the U.S. Senate.

During Bessent's confirmation vote a man was arrested with knives and a Molotov cocktail. The offender told Capitol Police, "I'm here to kill Scott Bessent".[1]

While negotiating the so-called "rare earths" trade deal with Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko in February 2025, Bessent yelled at Svyrydenko saying, "You have six minutes to accept the American terms of the deal, or the negotiations would be over", according to The New York Times.[2]
