A Single-party state is a state where one party rules the country with the exclusion of all others, and usually suppression of political dissent
Current Single-party states are:
- China (ruled by the Chinese Communist Party)
- Eritrea (ruled by the People's Front for Democracy and Justice)
- Cuba (ruled by the Communist Party of Cuba)
- Laos (ruled by the Lao People's Revolutionary Party)
- North Korea (ruled by the Workers' Party of Korea)
- Vietnam (ruled by the Communist Party of Vietnam)
- Western Sahara (ruled by Polisario Front)
