'''Rebecca Newberger Goldstein''' (born 1950) is an American [[atheist]] philosopher and novelist. Goldstein earned her Phd at [[Princeton University]].
In 2010, Goldstein published her book, ''36 Arguments for the Existence of God: A Work of Fiction'' which is a critique of various arguments for [[God]]'s existence. In [[William Lane Craig]]'s critique of the book, he stated that most of her arguments are straw men, and that her construction of the Kalam Cosmological Argument is invalid. <ref>
