Same good examples as "Dragnet". Was remade into a limited (L.A. and N.Y.C. aired) syndication series in 1990-1991 with less known main players, new characters and new situations. All three of its main players (Martin Milner, Kent McCord, William Boyett) are still or have stayed married to their same wives, with nine children between them (Milner had 4 kids, McCord had 3 and Boyett (who died in 2004 at 77) had 2).
