God's judgment
God sends judgment on those who love sin and lies more than Gospel truth, insuring their fate in the form of a deluding influence so that they continue to believe what is false. It is not just any delusion but a "strong delusion" (2 Thessalonians 2:11). Further, the heathen are not only wicked but also "unreasonable" (2 Thessalonians 3:2). By definition, delusions are beliefs held with strong conviction despite superior evidence to the contrary. Is it any wonder, then, that we have trouble reasoning with them and getting them to recognize the fallacies and factual inaccuracies on which their ideologies are based?

The Greek word for "delusion", ρλάνη, means fraudulence or a straying from orthodoxy. It is the feminine version of ρλάνος, meaning roving (as a tramp). It is no mystery, then, why the intellectually loose heathen accept any ideology that comes along, if they are offered enough of an inducement. This harlotry has been going on for thousands of years, and will continue until judgment has been fully executed. Dhdidnac 18:26, 7 January 2014 (EST)
