Wikipedia may boast that it is not censored, but that apparently doesn't apply to [[User:PeterKa/Filipacchi | user essays poking fun at feminism]], as you can see from [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/IncidentArchive797 this discussion]. You can read the full story of how I was banned [[User:PeterKa/Arbcom | here]]. If anyone wants to draw a larger lesson, I would say that if there is a serious conflict between a liberal editor and a conservative editor, the Wikipedia solution is to ban the conservative. Judging from my case, that applies even when the liberal editor is being malicious and vindictive, and the conservative is a top contributor.

I am your basic refugee from Wikipedia's ideological wars. The specific issues that led to my ban are discussed in [[User:PeterKa/Arbcom | my Arbcom appeal]]. But I also think that there are some larger lessons that can be drawn. In a series of cases, Wikipedia has resolved long-term conflicts between liberal and conservative editors by banning the conservative. Judging from my case, this policy may apply even when the liberal editor is malicious and unreasonable, the conservative editor is a top contributor, and the disputed material is apolitical.
