Do the Christian an Islamic approaches to property and ownership differ?

Surely granting Ali Baba stolen property is wrong (I'm assuming the treasure in the cave was stolen). It should be returned to its rightful owner. Do the Christian an Islamic approaches to property and ownership differ?
