In more recent years though, he has been better recognized as an advocate of Christian causes, starring in the 2014 faith-based movie, ''God's Not Dead'', which tells the story of a young Christian who stands up to his Atheist bully professor. The movie was an instant box office hit and is one of the [[Greatest Conservative Movies]]. Sorbo is married to Sam Jenkins, a conservative radio talk show host and author, and is a practicing Christian.
