:Also, let's face it, he said those things so he could get elected Governor of MA. To an extent I see that as stealthily putting one over on the MA voters, since I suspect his abortion and gay marriage views have always been what he claims them to be now. In MA it wouldn't matter, since neither issue would come up in a way that he could affect. Does saying them count as deceit in this case, or just, well, political expediency? You're not going to find anyone old enough to run for President who has been involved in politics who hasn't compromised themselves to some extent like this. Just my opinion, I guess. I noticed that Mr. Romney's full name is not used as the title of this article but Mr. Obama's full name is used as the title of this article. Why this discrepancy in style?
