Dear [[User:Wschact]], while I greatly appreciate your intelligently worded and kindly polite contributions, I respectfully disagree in this particular case that the acronym ([[MRE]] -- that is a redirect page) should not have categories identical to the actual article [[Meal, Ready-to-Eat]] since someone is more likely to browse for it under the common MRE name that the long term "Meal, Ready-to-Eat".
The perhaps unwritten policy you just "formalized" in writing today doesn't always apply in my opinion. You said [[User:Wschact]]
