On July 22 three days before the presidential Democrat convention, Wikileaks released a multitude of emails from "the top of" the Democratic National Committee (DNC),<ref>Tom Hamburger and Karen Tumulty, "WikiLeaks releases thousands of documents about Clinton and internal deliberations," ''The Washington Post'' (July 22, [2016]) https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2016/07/22/on-eve-of-democratic-convention-wikileaks-releases-thousands-of-documents-about-clinton-the-campaign-and-internal-deliberations/</ref> emails which indicated that members of the DNC had given favorable treatment to Hillary Clinton over (Jewish) Bernie Sanders in the Democratic presidential primary of 2016.  After the Democratic primary, the leader of Wikileaks was interviewed by a Dutch television man; in that interview Julian Assange spoke about the dangers to their sources (whistle-blowers) who give information to Wikileaks.  At about the same time, Assange offered a reward of $20,000 for information concerning the murder of Seth Rich.  But Assange did not directly assert that Seth Rich was the source of the email leaks.  This $20,000 reward followed the reward of $25,000 offered by the Washington DC police.<ref>Obituaries, "Seth Conrad Rich," The Jewish Press (posted July 20, 2016; issue July 22, 2016) http://www.jewishomaha.org/jewish-press/2016/seth-conrad-rich/; cf. In August, 2016 there was also a site called WeSearchR which claimed to be collecting reward money.<ref>WeSearchr (August, 2016) https://www.wesearchr.com/contact</ref>  As of 7 PM, August 18, 2016, WeSearchR claims to have raised $20,040 to add to the police and Wikileaks reward.  $20,000 of that sum is credited to Mike Cernovich.<ref> "Who Murdered 27-Year-Old DNC Staffer Seth Rich?"
