Britain may be fatter than Europe but it's a damnside skinnier than America. The problem with Britain is it is far more susceptible to US culture than European countries. As an Australian who has spent time living in France and in England it is obvious.  Australia's obesity crisis started with the proliferation of American fast food outlets like KFC and Maccas in the country.
