Observations: (1) Hersh rapidly goes from talking about the existence of an FBI file to the existence of an NSA file on Seth Rich; (2) this knowledge in open source references give Congressional Oversight Committees power to demnd documents from from the Executive Branch for "any and all documents". (Simple illustration: in a [[FOIA]] request, you must provide the exact file number to obtain the document. Documents are casually reference by name, like "The Rosenberg File" or "The Family Jewels", but files are often intercollated with two different investigations, like Hillary email and the Clinton Foundation. So the document number is used to hide sensitive information from both Congress and the FOIA. Redactions are how the existence of sensitive information shielded - one file referencing the existence of another secret file by number. Occasionally a secret file sneaks through by a failure in the redactions process. Once the file number is known, anyone can access it by the Freedom of Information Act. (3) Hersh is serving notice to Congressional Committees, by a circuitous route to protect his leaker, the existencevof ''both'' an FBI file & investigation into Seth zRich, AND an NSA file on Seth Rich. This is now, per Seymour Hersh a reputable journalist, public knowledge and gives legal Condtitutiinal authority to Congress to exercise it's advise and consent function.
