:Hello! We do use the same basic wiki language. We use MediaWiki, which is produced by the WikiMedia Foundation. A page on the basics is [[Help:How to edit a website like Conservapedia|here]], but if you know how to edit on WP, you should be all set for editing here. A basic summary of who we are and what we do is [[Conservapedia:Quick reference|here]], but an extensive guide is available [[Conservapedia:Editing article and talk pages|in our manual of style]]. Lastly, here are our [[Conservapedia:Commandments|rules]] and our [[Conservapedia:Guidelines|guidelines]].
:I know that's a lot of material, but hopefully some of it will be helpful. Other than reading up on any (or all) of that, just find something which needs improvement or creation, and edit it! Cite your sources, try to keep in uniform style, and avoid a liberal point of view. We do not specifically have a NPoV rule, so a "conservative bias" is permissible when it is supported by evidence. Otherwise, the safe option is to keep it neutral. You should also have the ability to create pages by yourself, without requesting permission.
:You can discuss possible changes on talk pages, and may want to do so for larger changes, especially on larger, more popular pages. However, this is not required. For the most part, it has been my experience that others leave you alone while you edit, unless they see an obvious problem.
