Tycho Brahe proposed a model that was a hybrid of [[geocentrism]] and [[heliocentrism]]: in his system, the Moon and the Sun revolved around a fixed Earth, while all other ''planets'' (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn) revolved around the Sun.
