Of the living US Presidents, only President Trump attended the funeral. Presidents Clinton and George W. Bush visited the library prior to the funeral. President George H.W. Bush has been unable to travel for some time due to his advanced age and poor health, while President Carter's wife Rosalynn had recently undergone surgery. President Obama did not visit or otherwise pay any respects.
