|A sequel TV series based on conservative animated Disney movie, The Lion King. The series is pro-family, as shown with most of the Lion Guard (Kion's parents being responsible rulers, Timon and Pumbaa being good adoptive uncles to Bunga, and), though the Guard consider the cheetah Fuli as part of their family as well. Poaching is shown in a negative light, with animals like pre-reformed Janja the hyena and the jackals actively disregarding the Circle of Life to hunt everything in sight. Redemption is also portrayed well, with animals like the aforementioned Janja and the crocodile Makuu reforming from their villainous ways to cooperate with their fellow animals.
