February 6, 1911- June 5, 2004. The fortieth President of the United States from 1981-1989. Considered by many to be the greatest American [[President]], Ronald Reagan's greatest accomplishments include leading America peacefully through the [[Cold War]], reducing the size of the federal government, lowering [[taxes]], promoting a free economy, and staunchly opposing socialism and communism, and ending the Cold War in victory for the United Staes. Reagan also served two terms as governor of [[California]] from 1967–1975.

He also introduced the idea of "[[Reaganomics]]" in which the rich would spend money which would trickle down to the poor.
