All of this outraged Elton John, who called for a boycott of Dolce & Gabbana’s clothing. He said they had insulted his IVF children. However, a few days later in Las Vegas he seemed to recant and said that he and his band were all wearing D&G clothing. There was little sign of the boycott catching on and the business of the pair of Italian designers continued to boom globally. They even chose to do a "mother-and-child" themed fashion collection.
