|This atrocious movie is made from the same director of ''Pink Flamingos'', starring an overweight delinquent student named Dawn (played by transvestite Divine) who abandons her family and starts a life of crime. Crime is seen as good, for Dawn decides to start causing crime as a way to get famous, and she even shows no remorse for her actions while she is electrocuted, thanking her fans for helping her gain infamy. Abuse is glorified, from Dawn's contempt for her parents to refusing to let her daughter Taffy be a normal girl, beating her harshly; when Taffy meets her father who abandoned the family, he sexually harasses her, pushing an incest vibe as well. The movie also pushes the homosexual agenda, where one woman urges a man to become gay because she thinks of heterosexuality as boring, and it shows two close-up shots of male genitalia as well.

Like with ''Pink Flamingos'', this movie got a positive reception from a rather morality-deprived audience.
