Newman is a known Antifa supporter. Both the Colorado Democrat party and the Denver Communist Party advertised the BLM/Antifa counterprotest. Black Guns Matter provocateur Jeremiah Elliott was involved in the February brawl at a Bernie Sanders event. Denver NBC affiliate has some previous connections with BLM/Antifa terror squads.

To summarize what is known so far colloquially - BGM provocateur Jeremiah Elliott has been followed closely by the Denver Post and the NBC affiliate. Eyewitness evidence exists of BGM provocateur Jeremiah Elliott colluding with both the shooter and the NBC affiliate producer. The NBC affilate hired an armed Antifa goon.
