:*He may well be far left, but I don't see that he's a socialist (let alone a Socialist), unless you have cites/quotes/positions I've not seen, and I haven't seen anything demonstrating that he's a "Democratic party activist", or even a Democratic party member. If you have any evidence (on any of those points), it should be added to the entry. Other than that and removing the gossip about his ex-girlfriend unsuccessfully suing him (or does the "gossip" rule only apply to politicians?), I really didn't do anything other than clean up the article, organize it.
:*As for the rest of it, I wasn't trying to scrub or PC-ize anything--I've only seen Maher's show once or twice, and don't find him amusing or intersting (mostly he comes across as an arrogant you-know-what). I'm just trying to do a good job here, help make Conservapedia a useful and trusted source. If I'm insufficiently doctrinaire, I apologize.
