==Results==
Official results will be determined as each state certifies the popular vote under established state laws. Each state will submit a slate of electors to go to each State Capitol on December 15, 2020 to cast that state's vote in the Electoral College. Those votes are transmitted to the federal government and the newly-elected House and Senate will meet to accept those results and resolve any challenges. If no candidate reaches a majority for President, the matter is referred to the House of Representatives, which each state having one vote. If no candidate reaches a majority for Vice President, the matter is referred to the United States Senate to decide. Results will be posted here at each step, as they become official.
