Most of it can be traced to the RW network and Wikipedia Rogue Admin cabal. I wouldn't be surprised if we've come to the attention of the Chinese 50 cent Army lately. Right now, according to Alexa, visitors are spending one hour Time on Site without the actual number of unique visitors going up, which to me looks like a clickbot attack.
