:::Virtually everyone agrees that light predated the sun regardless of time, so it is strange to even pose the question of how did light exist before the sun as it is already well known, and especially since the 7 day week of creation is the only model that fits perfecty both in the historical course of events and in the model of the week that we have universally. The sun and moon are the localized light sources that were created on day 4 and they are not referring to the general light of the universe, in physics, not only space itself can emit light on its own and does not need matter as a source such as the radiation from empty space which emits light but also there was matter emitting light before the sun such as ionized plasma which forms neutral atoms that allow the universe to deliver the light. Last but not least, you do not need the sun to have light such as when you are in your room at night and open lightbulb and also you do not need the sun or the moon to have a 24 hour day. Genesis explains that there was a general seperation of light and darkness refering to the general concepts of light and darkness and on day 4 it refers to the creation of the sun and moon system which is the only way that we can function in the mortal material world. It explains everything perfectly. [[User:Kirikagure|Kirikagure]] 12:00, 24 September 2021 (EDT)
