Well the animals have been dated to have lived since just after the last ice age. So over 10,000 years old easily although again you have a different dating method. What I would like to know is why there are no records of the ice age in the bible or anywhere else from around the period of time after Noahs Arc?

I doubt them because (a) they conflict with the reliable historical record of the Bible, and (b) because they have been shown to be unreliable when tested on rocks of known age, as well as inconsistent with each other in some cases.
