The enemy of my enemy is my friend, essentially. Since the regime is Nick's enemy, Nick wants to support the enemies of the regime, inside and out. I don't agree with that line of reasoning, but it's not as black-and-white as you're presenting it. ::You're right that Fuentes hasn't committed treason. You can't commit treason by merely voicing an opinion, no matter how odious that opinion may be.
::That aside, only time will tell if Fuentes was indeed just trolling or was in fact being completely serious. But one thing's for certain, there ''are'' a lot of people on the alt-right who share that opinion, and ''are'' completely serious about it.
