:::It's obvious by the edits though that this is just one of the many twerps who make hundreds of sock accounts to vandalize the same page repeatedly. It's their raison d'etre. I've dealt with vandals that are so determined to deface articles that they make new socks literally within SECONDS of their accounts getting blocked. I had to stay on the ball blocking and reverting the vandalism until Andy finally steps in by temporarily disabling account creation. I only have blocking capabilities, I don't have page locking capabilities. [[User:Shobson20|Shobson20]] ([[User talk:Shobson20|talk]]) 23:30, January 1, 2022 (EST)

::::That's why you need to consult with an Admin. In the past several months CP has undone a policy shift on blocking and toward abusive editors. We also are trying to improve communication between sysops and asst sysops, encourage more discussion among editors, and move away from heavy handed blocking. We are trying to be fair to good faith editors who may have made a few mistakes, while expanding the user base.  In the past, knee-jerk arbitrary blocking has not been useful to building the project.
