Pierce and Wood were fired before years end when the Rittenhouse family discovered that Kyle could have been bailed out months earlier, but Pierce was holding Kyle in an Illinois jail by fighting an extradition request from Wisconsin and using Kyle's detention as a fundraising scheme for political purposes.
