Agreed, sadly, nothing is black or white, as the [[opioid crisis]] has revealed ('''article needed'''). Re vaccines: my son suffered no childhood diseases, other than minor colds, thanks to numerous vaccines, but I had several, including being [[quarantine]]d for [[scarlet fever]]. I also grew up, in the 1950s, seeing lucky survivors of [[polio]] in leg irons. Anti-vaccers really need to read this Conservapedia polio article. Hence my faith in vaccines, including those against [[pneumonia]], flu, and [[shingles]] received in recent months.
