Mask mandates have been used by local, state, and national governments during the COVID-19 pandemic as an alleged attempt to reduce direct, person-to-person transmission of the virus. However, typical surgical-style and fabric masks contain materials which are too coarse to trap viruses. Only masks made with fine materials, such as N95 masks are capable of blocking these viruses and the aerosols which tend to carry them. Unfortunately, N95 masks are also harder the breathe through[1], and need to be carefully fitted to the wearer in order to be effective (which out of the box, they typically are not).[2]

Two years into the covid pandemic, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) finally admitted that masks were always political theatre.[3]

Studies made about the use of face masks have confirmed that they are both ineffective for protection against COVID-19 and can cause negative health effects (including through the rebreathing of some of the mask wearer's own carbon dioxide and of bacteria transferred through exhalation onto the inside of the masks); of particular concern is young children being forced to wear face masks due to mask diktats imposed by politicians and public officials for political, rather than medical, reasons.[4] Among the side effects listed from wearing face masks include lowered blood oxygen levels, impeded breathing, headaches, adverse skin reactions (including acne breakouts), yeast infections, dental issues, growth of bacteria, mold and fungi on the interiors of masks, ear protrusion in children, allergy issues, shedding of fibers or micro-plastics by face masks, altered behavior, stagnation of emotional and intellectual development in children and affectation of mental health.

Florida Surgeon-General Dr. Joseph Ladapo has recommended that children not be forced to wear face masks in schools, noting that there is no clinical benefit to doing so.[5] Ladapo's statement syncs with parents who have refused to make their children wear masks at school, backing their stance with data revealing that children are not at high risk from COVID-19, they do not spread the virus at any significant level and they may face physical and psychological damage from wearing face masks for long periods.[6]

Affects on children

A study by researchers at Brown University found that mean IQ scores of young children born during the pandemic tumbled by as much as 22 points while verbal, motor and cognitive performance all suffered as a result of lockdown. The study of 672 children born before and after the CCP pandemic began in March 2020 found that “[w]ith limited stimulation at home and less interaction with the world outside, pandemic-era children appear to have scored shockingly low on tests designed to assess cognitive development.”

As Michael Curzon notes, all of these factors were exacerbated by lockdown measures which kept babies and young children away from other children, as well as mask mandates. “Children born over the past year of lockdowns – at a time when the Government has prevented babies from seeing elderly relatives and other extended family members, from socialising at parks or with the children of their parent’s friends, and from studying the expressions on the faces behind the masks of locals in indoor public spaces – have significantly reduced verbal, motor and overall cognitive performance compared to children born before, according to a new U.S. study. Tests on early learning, verbal development and non-verbal development all produced results that were far behind those from the years preceding the lockdowns.”[8]

A Brown University study released in November 2021 found that social distancing measures and face masks are suspected of causing young American childrens’ cognitive development to drop by a staggering 23 percent.[9]

As young as 8 months old, babies start learning how to speak by reading lips. Jaclyn Theek, a speech therapist reported that her clinic has seen a "364% increase in patient referrals of babies and toddlers". Theek explained, "It's very important kids do see your face to learn, so they're watching your mouth." According to Theek, since the pandemic, autism symptoms are also skyrocketing. “They’re not making any word attempts and not communicating at all with their family,” she said.[10]

Laws for thee but not for me

Many people were arrested, assaulted, and even murdered by leftwing fascists for not wearing masks during the CCP pandemic.[11] However leftwing fascist politicians were repeatedly among the most proud abusers of the rules they themselves formulated for the rest of society.

Salongate refers to incident when Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's extreme liberal hypocrisy and exhibition of childish behaviors in early September 2020 when she visited a hair salon in San Francisco that violated coronavirus lockdown orders and doubled down by avoiding personal responsibility. On September 1, 2020, security footage emerged of Pelosi visiting a hair salon without a face mask[12] and in violation of her own city's lockdown orders.[13] This was despite the fact that she had repeatedly lectured others on the importance of mask-wearing, a matter pointed out in a Trump campaign ad.[14] Her action sparked strong criticisms.[15]

After being caught in her action, Rep. Pelosi acted in the manner of an irresponsible and spoiled teenager by blaming the salon owner Erica Kious, accusing the latter of a "setup" and demanding that they apologize to her.[16] The ridiculous claim was thoroughly rebuked by Kious,[17] a single mother of two children, though it didn't stop Pelosi's stylist from acting as an apologist for the House Speaker's actions.[18]

When appearing on Tucker Carlson Tonight at Fox News,[19] Kious reported that she received death threats and had to relocate following Pelosi's action/remarks.[20] A GoFundMe effort has been started by Amy Tarkanian, the wife of Danny Tarkanian, to support her.[21] Kristi Noem, the incumbent movement conservative governor of South Dakota, offered to welcome Kious into her state.[22]

The video of Pelosi entering the salon without a face mask has been played by White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany.[23] President Trump also mocked the representative for her actions,[24] and suggested that the salon owner ought to replace Pelosi as Speaker of the House.[25][26]

Many liberals who maintain a habit of shifting responsibility blamed Trump for Pelosi's actions, including Chris "Fredo the Younger" Cuomo.[27] The mayor of San Francisco also attacked Trump and called him a "terrorist".[28]

Kious has raised over $335,000.

Kious announced on September 10, 2020 that she was afraid to head back to San Francisco and would permanently close her shop.[29]

Socialist premier Joe Biden, while Christmas shopping at an exclusive white privileged Nantucket shopping district, ignored the shopkeepers posted mask mandate.[30]

Fauci contradictions

Dr. Anthony Fauci, who claims to be the living embodiment of science, has contradicted himself on the effectiveness of masks and forcing children to wear them on multiple occasions:

'I represent Science.'"[31] he arrogantly, pompously pretended while leading the U.S. to one of the highest COVID-19 mortality rates in the world.
  • People should not be walking around with masks
  • Let me just state for the record, that masks are not theater
  • Wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better
  • Masks are protective
  • It's not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is
  • There has not been any indication that putting a mask on and wearing a mask for a considerable period of time has any deleterious effects
  • There are unintended consequences. People keep fiddling with the mask and they keep touching their face
  • You do not need to wear a mask indoors if in fact you've been vaccinated
  • Good that you're vaccinated, but in a situation where you have people indoors particularly crowded, you should wear a mask
  • So even if you are vaccinated you should wear a mask
  • If in fact you are vaccinated, fully vaccinated, you are protected and you do not need to wear a mask outdoors or indoors
  • When the children go out into the community you want them to continue to wear masks
  • You know if you look at children outside, particularly when they're with the family, walking down the street, playing a game or what have you, don't have to wear a mask
  • The academy of pediatric actually makes that recommendation, that children should be wearing masks, uh, from two years old onward
